Lush Diary #47 | The Experimenter

Autumn is settling and with it come the cold fingers and runny nose. This means that it’s time to take as many baths as you can !

That’s what I’ve been doing anyways and making a dent in my Lush bath bomb collection at the same time. The one I’m going to talk about today is called The Experimenter.

The Experimenter is a bath bomb with multiple sides (literally) and multiple colours. I think that it was Mister who chose it, in the Inverness Lush store, mostly because of the scent I believe. But what I’m sure of is that the scent is divine !

With all the colours present on the outside of this bath bomb, we can expect a great show when we pop the bath bomb into the water. And a great show you’re going to get ! As soon as you drop it into the water, it starts to release all the different bright colours and they create beautiful patterns in the water. I think that the pictures will speak louder than my words so I’ll let you have a look below.

Once the bath bomb is fully melted, the colours mix together completely and you end up with a dark milky turquoise bath. It looks like a mountain lake when there’s a storm coming. If you want to get all poetic about it. It’s quite pretty.

As for the scent, it’s very ‘Lush’, a bit spicy and warm. I think that it’s a scent that many people will like and many will love. We definitely loved it !

All in all, I’d recommend this bath bomb for the fantastic scent and the great show while it melts away in the bath. Lush does colour shows really and the Experimenter surely doesn’t disappoint.

Have you tried it ? What do you think of it ?
