3 Empties That Will Be Missed | Tarte, Rituals and Liz Earl

I haven’t done an ’empties post’ in a really long time. To be honest, they’re not my favourite. They’re always a bit too long. They’re not my favourite to read, and they’re definitely not my favourite to write.

However, I’ve just finished 3 products that I really loved and that I’m going to miss, so I want to share that with you. And as there are only 3, it won’t be too long.

The Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara

This is a mini mascara that Lexie gave me because she didn’t like, but I looooved it !

This mascara give a really intense result, both in terms of volume and length, and I don’t have to apply 15 layers and spend 10 minutes to get the result that I want.

It doesn’t smudge or flake and wasn’t hard to remove. Honestly, its only fault is that it was a mini and not a full size.

I’m afraid that’s about all I have to say. I’m mainly looking for intensity in a mascara, and this one delivered.

The famous Liz Earl Cleanse & Polish, Hot Cloth Cleanser

I’ve talked about this product in great details here, so I won’t say too much about it now.

It’s a cleansing/makeup removing balm, that you massage onto your face and don’t rinse but wipe away with a warm damp cloth. That way, you get rid off all the grime, makeup and product residue, but you also give your face a little exfoliation.

What I like the most about this product is the scent. But it’s also extremely pleasant to use when you massage it onto the skin, it doesn’t sting the eye and the scent really makes you feel like your in a spa.

However, if you’re someone who wears waterproof mascara, or even someone who wears a lot of eye makeup, it’s not the best product to remove makeup.

Personally, I take a little bit of the balm, massage it on my face and eyes, and then add a little warm water to increase the product’s efficiency and “melt” the mascara. And once I’ve wiped everything away with my warm cloth, there’s no makeup left. But it’s not as easy as with other products.

But I like the smell so much that I’m sad to have finished it, even if it’s not the best to remove makeup.

The Rituals Good Luck Scrub

I’ve already mentioned Rituals scrubs a few times on the blog because I love them. They are my favourite scrubs.

In my opinion, the level of scrubbiness is perfect, and as it’s sugar it melts as you rub it in. This means that you know when to stop rubbing.

Also, as the scrub is made out of oil as well as sugar, this product is very nourishing for the skin, which will help to make it feel even smoother. And this oil in particular is very good at nourishing the skin.

When I use this product, my skin is left extremely soft and very nourished. No need to apply any body lotion or butter after scrubing.

What’s more is that this sugar scrub is available in almost every fragrance line in Rituals, so that each can choose the one that they like the most. The Good Luck scrub smells like sweet orange and cedar. It’s a fantastic smell.

I need to go and get myself another pot as quickly as possible, I don’t want to live without it anymore.

So that’s it for my empties, short and sweet.

Do you know these products ? What are you sad to have run out of recently ?
