New in the Natural, Swiss Cosmetic World | Reficis Soie-Douce

Hello everybody,

Today I want to talk to you about Reficis’ new line Soie-Douce that was launched on May 22nd.

I was lucky enough to attend the launch of the new line and to meet its lovely creator, Marlena.

It was such a pleasure to finally meet this energetic young woman who strives to make her dream come true !

What I liked about Marlena’s presentation of these products is that she insisted on all the right things. She emphasised the importance of removing makeup and cleansing (2 different things !) as well as the fact that you don’t necessarily need to use all you products everyday.

She encourages us to listen to our skin and to what we feel it needs. (more…)

200 New Lush Launches ?! + Haul

Hello my Bunnies,

I’m now back from London so this is the end of pre-published articles.

Today I want to talk to you about a subject that excites me greatly and that for some reason I haven’t seen anyone else address.

So we spent over an hour in there lusting over everything. Yes because not only did it have 3 floors it also contained 200 new lush products that are exclusive to this shop at the moment.

So we did pick up what we initially walked in for, but also a couple more things because the new products were just irresistible. (more…)

Today I want to present to you my top pick from Boots that you should really check out as someone living outside the UK.

*Boots is the biggest pharmacy chain in the UK and they sell almost all the cheap makeup brands (as well as a few luxurious ones) and everything for the face, hair and body – It’s a beauty blogger’s paradise ! (more…)

Downsizing | My 5 Day Trip to London

It has been a long time since I admitted to myself that I wasn’t a very practical traveller. I always want to have everything with me.

For years I was traveling with full-size products and it was taking up a lot of space in my bag.

For a couple of years I’ve been trying to travel with nothing but minis.

Since last week, after reading this article from Roberta (it’s in french) I try to travel with minis AND samples. (more…)

A Really Long Lasting Manicure

It all started last friday…

I had an event to go to and wanted my hands to look nice so I decided to paint my nails for the first time since Christmas.

As I was rummaging through my nail polish collection I found this little number by Rimmel that I had never used and decided to give it a go.

I did my manicure as per usual. I used one coat of the Essie Beam-Up base coat to keep my nails from yellowing, let it dry for a few minutes and then applied two coats of the Rimmel Salon Pro in the shade 701 Jazz Funk leaving a few minutes in between the coats. (more…)
